Io, la dieta e il giudizio degli altri
Quando si comincia la dieta si fa una scelta consapevole con
se stessi. In realtà poi ci si rende conto che a dieta non si è
da soli ma bisogna fare i conti anche con leopinioni degli
altri..
Dirlo o non dirlo agli altri?
Le persone che stanno intorno possono boicottare inconsapevolmente la dieta.. “Stai bene, non hai bisogno
di dimagrire”, ”Che tristezza la dieta”, queste parole buttate quasi per caso, hanno sempre un peso notevole.
La dieta infatti non è un percorso senza ostacoli, spesso lungo questo cammino si può inciampare senza rendersene conto.
E’ bene informare e coinvolgere lepersone vicine, sincere,
affrontare le cose insieme rappresenta sempre un punto di
forza, nel caso specifico della dieta c’è bisogno attivo delle
persone con le quali si convive,una complicitàaffinché non vengano proposti cibi non previsti nella dieta e magari tenendo nascoste le tavolette di cioccolato o cibi particolarmente golosi.
La dieta in compagnia
La decisione di seguire un regime alimentare dimagrante
prepara all’idea di dover controllare le porzioni, mangiare
solo gli alimenti previsti, modificare comunque lo stile di vita, anche in questo quadro si deve mettere in conto di dover gestire il giudizio, la curiosità degli altri soprattutto in situazioni di convivialità: cene fuori, compleanni, aperitivi,inviti a pranzo.
Come comportarsi? Come imporsi?
Qualche volta si può anchementire,dire qualche piccola
bugia, dichiarare magari dinon essere in forma,di non stare
bene oppure di essereintolleranti ad un certo alimento.
L’atmosfera festosa, la tentazione di piatti golosi, drink buoni e dissetanti, è facile perdere il controllo.
Non bisogna assolutamentecommiserarsipensando ”Beati loro(magari in sovrappeso) ”Chi me lo fa fare“, questa occasione può rappresentare un momento ideale per rafforzare la convinzione, ricordando tutti i motivi per i quali si è intrapresa questa strada. Quindi stamparsi un sorriso e affrontare la situazione con sicurezza.
Combattere il senso di esclusione
Pur imparando a gestire la situazione, può comunque
capitare di sentire unsenso di esclusionerispetto agli altri,
ma questo non deve mai impedire di svolgere una regolare
vita sociale, anzi si può provare orgoglio ed essere di
esempio a coloro che che non riescono a dimagrire
perché non sono in grado di prendere un impegno con
se stessi.
La dieta è una cosa seria
Improvvisatori, falsi profeti, mercanti dell’alimentazione, hanno tutti una proposta per tutto. Diete di tutti i tipi, giornali che ogni giorno ne propongono una diversa, diete fai da te pericolose, che prima o poi faranno riacquistare i chili persi. Iréne Margaritis,
capo dell’unita di valutazione dell’Anses, in un comunicato ha spiegato perché queste diete non vanno prese alla leggera.
«Il sovrappeso e l’obesità sono un problema reale di salute pubblica – spiega l’esperta – che richiede il supporto di un operatore sanitario, e la dieta va fatta solo sotto la sua supervisione. Purtroppo siamo di fronte al paradosso che sempre più persone provano da sole a perdere peso senza alcuna indicazione medica, principalmente per motivi estetici.
Educazione alimentare fin da bambini
La dieta è in genere ( succede anche di essere a dieta senza che ci sia necessità) unaconseguenza di sovrappesoe abuso di cibo per motivi diversi e individuali. Igenitorisvolgono un ruolo fondamentale per quanto riguarda l’educazione alimentare dei figli, devono mettere delle regole ma devono anche
rispettarle , altrimenti i figli, sia bambini che adolescenti tendono a ignorarle. Dunque mangiare sano e coinvolgere i figli nella scelta, nella preparazione e nella consumazione dei cibi, può essere fondamentale per una futura consapevolezza che il cibo va consumato in maniera sana ed equilibrata.
