Il loro trattamento è più complesso ma non per questo meno efficace, se ben attuato. La difficoltà più grande consiste in particolar modo nel individuare le zone contratte, diagnosi per cui occorrono pratica ed esercizio.

La riflessologia applicata su persone affette da disturbi cardiovascolari, però, deve essere effettuata solamente da personale qualificato e di provata competenza.
