Parto cesareo
Il taglio cesareo è un intervento chirurgico attraverso il quale il ginecologo pratica un’incisione nella parte inferiore dell’addome e dell’utero, attraverso la quale si estrae il neonato.
Il parto cesareo può essere programmato quando la madre presenta determinate patologie oppure d’urgenza quando avviene durante il travaglio per delle complicazioni.
Il parto cesareo programmato avviene quando:
- il feto si presenta in posizione scorretta
- esiste una sproporzione rilevante tra le dimensioni della testa del feto e il canale della mamma;
- il feto presenta segni di mancanza di ossigeno (anossia)
- placenta previa.
- quando il cordone ombelicale è attorcigliato attorno al collo del bambino e comporta dei rischi
Per la madre rappresentano indicazioni di taglio cesareo:
- diabete
- cardiopatie e altre condizioni ritenute di grave pericolo sia per la madre che per il feto.
Il parto cesareo d’urgenza avviene quando:
- Il travaglio non procede normalmente, nonostante le contrazioni siano forti e presenti da diverse ore, l il collo dell’utero non si è aperto abbastanza e la testa del bambino è troppo grande per permettere un parto naturale.
- Il bambino non riceve ossigeno a sufficienza e c’è un cambiamento del battito cardiaco che indica una diminuzione di ossigeno.
In Italia il parto cesareo viene effettuato con una frequenza molto alta, a volte senza un reale motivo di salute.
Molte donne preferiscono il taglio cesareo per paura del dolore del parto naturale ;
quando si sceglie di effettuare un cesareo si è molto spesso inconsapevoli dei rischi e delle controindicazioni in quanto è un vero e proprio intervento chirurgico.
Le donne che hanno subito un taglio cesareo hanno più probabilità di avere delle complicazioni nelle gravidanze successive.
Il rischio di rottura dell’utero durante la seconda gravidanza, anche se è un evento eccezionale, è più alto rispetto alle donne che hanno avuto un parto naturale.
C’è da tenere conto anche dell’aspetto psicologico, molte donne vivono un senso di frustrazione e di senso di colpa.
Tecniche di anestesia
- Anestesia Spinale
L’anestesia spinale ( subaracnoidea) è un tipo di anestesia locale o regionale, prevede un’iniezione di anestetico all’interno del liquido cefalorachidiano.
L ‘iniezione di solito viene praticata in zona lombare.
Agisce rapidamente e con dosi basse di anestetico.
Anestesia Epidurale
La procedura è semplice e consiste nell’inserimento di un catetere molto sottile a livello lombare, la parte più bassa della colonna vertebrale.
L’ago viene tolto e il catetere rimane in sede, ed è attraverso questo sottile tubicino che viene somministrato l’analgesico, e prevede all’incirca ogni ora dei rabbocchi
La procedura dura 10 minuti.
L’nestesia epidurale è una metodica ben conosciuta, ormai molto consolidata, molto efficace che ha permesso di umanizzare il parto.
Anestesia generale
L’anestesia generale viene effettuata in situazioni di emergenza quando non c’è tempo per eseguire un’ anestesia spinale oppure nel caso di terapia con farmaci anticoagulanti, interventi ortopedici, malattie neurologiche o anche il rifiuto della partoriente di utilizzare le altre tecniche.
Ogni tipo di parto merita di essere ricordato con amore.
